A few months ago God began dealing with husband on transition. At the time, we were pastoring a wonderful, loving church in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. We were content and could spend the rest of lives living the life of comfort. God began to speak to my husband that he was leading us in a different direction. I, on the other hand was praying and was feeling that change would soon take place. Within the months leading, God gave us direction to move to Eastern Kentucky short term. In my flesh, I fought this decision emotionally. I had never lived outside of Elizabethtown, Kentucky until I got married and even then it was stretch. Through many tears and regrets, I have come to the conclusion physically and spiritually that I am not in control and surrender is the only way to have true fulfillment through this transition.
As I type this first blog, it is today that moving day has officially began. I want people to know that following God's plan is difficult, but worth the sacrifice and time. I will be sharing with you my journey in Eastern Kentucky in hopes that it may inspire you to cling to God's promises and know that when God is in control everything will work for his good!
Here are a few pictures of our move today :)

Almost there! The mountains are almost surrounding us at this point! Very different geographic region from Central Kentucky!
